The work Jordon – gardener series by Michael Lau was auctioned at Bonhams in Hong Kong in May last year. It achieved a price of HKD 165,750.00 (€ 19,678.08), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 38%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Michael Lau achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Tolerant (Package - Change Series) in April this year with an auction result of HKD 252,000.00 (€ 257,341.30).

Die Arbeit Jordon – gardener series von Michael Lau kam im Mai letzten Jahres bei Bonhams in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 165.750,00 (€ 19.678,08) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 38%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Michael Lau erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Tolerant (Package - Change Series) im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 252.000,00 (€ 257.341,30).
