The »bidding war« ended at GBP 18,750.00 (€ 24,466.77), 56% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Michel Comte - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Carla Bruni, 1993, which sold at auction in April 2008 for USD 91,000.00 (€ 58,453.24).

Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 18.750,00 (€ 24.466,77) und damit 56% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Michel Comte mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Carla Bruni, 1993 beobachtet, die im April 2008 für USD 91.000,00 (€ 58.453,24) versteigert wurde.
