However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Michelangelo Meucci - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Hanging Fowl with Pomegranate; Hanging Fowl with Cherries, which sold at auction in March 2003 for USD 5,975.00 (€ 5,481.65).
