The work Foresta Californiana by Michele Cascella was auctioned at Sothebys in Milan in November 2007. It achieved a price of EUR 18,250.00 exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 22 %. Admittedly, works by Michele Cascella have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Paris, Les Tuileries in February 2008 with an auction result of USD 157,000.00 (€ 103,377.89).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Foresta Californiana von Michele Cascella kam im November 2007 bei Sothebys in Mailand zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 18.250,00 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 22 %. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Michele Cascella auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Paris, Les Tuileries im Februar 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 157.000,00 (€ 103.377,89).
