The »bidding war« ended at GBP 4,375.00 (€ 5,576.56), 46% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Michele Rocca achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Rinaldo and Armida in May 2003 with an auction result of EUR 66,920.00.

Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 4.375,00 (€ 5.576,56) und damit 46% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Michele Rocca erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Rinaldo and Armida im Mai 2003 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 66.920,00.
