Auction result well in line with expectations
In December 2014 Christies in London held the auction Sporting & Wildlife Art, which included the work Ocelot by Michele Vitaloni. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 8,000.00 – 12,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 8,125.00 (€ 10,459.57) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Michele Vitaloni have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in December 2012 the work Garganey was auctioned for GBP 16,250.00 (€ 20,040.76).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Dezember 2014 führte Christies in London die Auktion Sporting & Wildlife Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Ocelot von Michele Vitaloni zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 8.125,00 (€ 10.459,57) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Andere Arbeiten von Michele Vitaloni konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Dezember 2012 die Arbeit Garganey für GBP 16.250,00 (€ 20.040,76) versteigert.
