Auction result well in line with expectations
In June 2011 Christies in London held the auction Christie's Interiors, which included the work Imports by Mick Moon. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 1,000.00 – 2,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 1,250.00 (€ 1,382.89) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Mick Moon have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in June 2011 the work Letters From India was auctioned for GBP 1,875.00 (€ 2,074.34).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni 2011 führte Christies in London die Auktion Christie's Interiors durch, in der auch die Arbeit Imports von Mick Moon zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 1.000,00 – 2.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 1.250,00 (€ 1.382,89) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Andere Arbeiten von Mick Moon konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Juni 2011 die Arbeit Letters From India für GBP 1.875,00 (€ 2.074,34) versteigert.
