Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Tunginpa (Mouse Dreaming) by Mick Namarari Tjapaltjarri was sold in the Aboriginal Art auction at Sothebys in Melbourne in July 2009. The price achieved of AUD 9,600.00 (€ 5,435.16) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as AUD 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Mick Namarari Tjapaltjarri achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Tjunginpa (Mouse Dreaming) in July 2009 with an auction result of AUD 144,000.00 (€ 81,527.33).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Tunginpa (Mouse Dreaming) von Mick Namarari Tjapaltjarri wurde im Juli 2009 in der Auktion Aboriginal Art bei Sothebys in Melbourne versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von AUD 9.600,00 (€ 5.435,16) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit AUD 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Mick Namarari Tjapaltjarri erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Tjunginpa (Mouse Dreaming) im Juli 2009 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von AUD 144.000,00 (€ 81.527,33).
