Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In March 2006 Christies in London held the auction 20th Century British Art, which included the work Wedding Day Yalalag by Mick Rooney. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 2,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 2,160.00 (€ 3,094.89). Other works by Mick Rooney have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of GBP 3,600.00 (€ 5,243.03) in March 2005 for the work Haberdasherland.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im März 2006 führte Christies in London die Auktion 20th Century British Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Wedding Day Yalalag von Mick Rooney zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 2.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 2.160,00 (€ 3.094,89) einen neuen Besitzer. Andere Arbeiten von Mick Rooney haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von GBP 3.600,00 (€ 5.243,03) im März 2005 für die Arbeit Haberdasherland beobachtet.
