Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Extracurricular Activity Projective Reconstruction #21 (Chicken Dance) by Mike Kelley was auctioned at Sothebys in Milan in May 2021. The price achieved of EUR 16,380.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Mike Kelley achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Memory Ware Flat 1 in May 2016 with an auction result of USD 3,301,000.00 (€ 2,964,526.27).
