A top price for Mikhail Abramovich Balunin - as previously expected
The work Daybreak by Mikhail Abramovich Balunin was auctioned at Christies in London in November 2004. The price achieved of GBP 8,365.00 (€ 12,033.01) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 7,000.00 – 9,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Daybreak is the most expensive artwork by Mikhail Abramovich Balunin that we have observed at auctions so far.
