Auction result well in line with expectations
In June this year Christies in London held the auction The Robin and Rupert Hambro Collection, which included this untitled work by Mimmo Paladino. It changed hands for a price of GBP 7,560.00 (€ 8,798.54) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Mimmo Paladino achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Vespero in November 2008 with an auction result of EUR 216,750.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni diesen Jahres führte Christies in London die Auktion The Robin and Rupert Hambro Collection durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Mimmo Paladino zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 7.560,00 (€ 8.798,54) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 6.000,00 – 8.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Mimmo Paladino erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Vespero im November 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 216.750,00.
