This artwork by Mimmo Rotella achieved an unexpectedly high price at Phillips in London in February 2016. In the 20th Century & Contemporary Art Evening Sale auction, the work without title sold for GBP 1,082,500.00 (€ 1,387,090.08) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 600,000.00. This high result makes the work without title the most expensive artwork by Mimmo Rotella that we have observed at auctions so far.
