Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Karin by Mr. was sold in the Post-Millennium Evening Sale auction at Christies in Hong Kong in November last year. The price achieved of HKD 3,780,000.00 (€ 469,067.13) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 2,800,000.00 – 4,800,000.00. Admittedly, works by Mr. have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Exercising My Telekinetic Powers (Painted In 2012) in April this year with an auction result of HKD 4,560,000.00 (€ 4,656,652.17).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Karin von Mr. wurde im November letzten Jahres in der Auktion Post-Millennium Evening Sale bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 3.780.000,00 (€ 469.067,13) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 2.800.000,00 – 4.800.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Mr. auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Exercising My Telekinetic Powers (Painted In 2012) im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 4.560.000,00 (€ 4.656.652,17).
