Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work The Radiant Skull, 2011 by Mygalo was auctioned at Artcurial in Paris in February 2012, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of EUR 2,000.00 – 2,500.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for EUR 1,913.00. Other works by Mygalo have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in March 2012 by the work Dans Mes Arteres Coule La Seine at EUR 2,317.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit The Radiant Skull, 2011 von Mygalo im Februar 2012 bei Artcurial in Paris versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 2.000,00 – 2.500,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für EUR 1.913,00 den Besitzer. Andere Arbeiten von Mygalo wurden auch schon teurer gehandelt; den höchsten Preis, den wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachten konnten, erzielte im März 2012 die Arbeit Dans Mes Arteres Coule La Seine mit EUR 2.317,00.
