Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In September 2014 Christies in New York held the auction A Pioneering Vision: Works from the Collection of Shumita and Arani Bose, which included the work Ecstasy of Radha 2 by Nalini Malani. Here, the upper estimate of USD 80,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 81,250.00 (€ 64,341.15). Other works by Nalini Malani have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of USD 122,500.00 (€ 90,066.91) in September 2010 for the work Manipulating Reality.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im September 2014 führte Christies in New York die Auktion A Pioneering Vision: Works from the Collection of Shumita and Arani Bose durch, in der auch die Arbeit Ecstasy of Radha 2 von Nalini Malani zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 80.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 81.250,00 (€ 64.341,15) einen neuen Besitzer. Andere Arbeiten von Nalini Malani haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von USD 122.500,00 (€ 90.066,91) im September 2010 für die Arbeit Manipulating Reality beobachtet.
