Auction result well in line with expectations
The work The Barriers by Nalini Malani was auctioned at Christies in London in June 2015. The price achieved of GBP 6,250.00 (€ 8,812.42) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Nalini Malani achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Manipulating Reality in September 2010 with an auction result of USD 122,500.00 (€ 90,066.91).

Die Arbeit The Barriers von Nalini Malani kam im Juni 2015 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 6.250,00 (€ 8.812,42) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 5.000,00 – 7.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Nalini Malani erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Manipulating Reality im September 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 122.500,00 (€ 90.066,91).
