Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In July 2008 Artcurial in Paris held the auction Australian Aboriginal Art: Peter Los Collection, which included the work Bush Banana Dreaming, 1990 by Napangardi Eunice. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 3,222.00 24% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Napangardi Eunice achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Bush Banana Dreaming, 2000 in July 2008 with an auction result of EUR 43,372.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Juli 2008 führte Artcurial in Paris die Auktion Australian Aboriginal Art: Peter Los Collection durch, in der auch die Arbeit Bush Banana Dreaming, 1990 von Napangardi Eunice zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 3.222,00 und damit 24% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Napangardi Eunice erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Bush Banana Dreaming, 2000 im Juli 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 43.372,00.
