Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Al Awaj River, Horan Al Darakhbiyah Area by Nasser Chaura was auctioned at Christies in Dubai in March 2019. The price achieved of USD 12,500.00 (€ 11,132.88) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Nasser Chaura - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Landscape, which sold at auction in October 2018 for GBP 22,500.00 (€ 25,373.06).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Al Awaj River, Horan Al Darakhbiyah Area von Nasser Chaura kam im März 2019 bei Christies in Dubai zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 12.500,00 (€ 11.132,88) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Nasser Chaura mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Landscape beobachtet, die im Oktober 2018 für GBP 22.500,00 (€ 25.373,06) versteigert wurde.
