Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Nasser Chaura was sold in the Modern and Contemporary Middle Eastern Art Online Sale auction at Bonhams in London in December 2019. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 5,000.00 – 8,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 5,062.50 (€ 5,983.28) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Nasser Chaura have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Landscape in October 2018 with an auction result of GBP 22,500.00 (€ 25,373.06).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Nasser Chaura wurde im Dezember 2019 in der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Middle Eastern Art Online Sale bei Bonhams in London versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 5.000,00 – 8.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 5.062,50 (€ 5.983,28) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Nasser Chaura auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Landscape im Oktober 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 22.500,00 (€ 25.373,06).
