Auction result misses estimated price range
In April 2011 a collector was able to acquire the work Magic Carpets by Nazif Topçuoğlu for GBP 7,500.00 (€ 8,446.29). This price was achieved in the auction Contemporary Art/ Turkish at Sothebys in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 8,000.00 – 12,000.00 set by the auction house. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Nazif Topçuoğlu - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Triptych, which sold at auction in April 2010 for GBP 21,250.00 (€ 24,454.59).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im April 2011 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Magic Carpets von Nazif Topçuoğlu für GBP 7.500,00 (€ 8.446,29) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Contemporary Art/ Turkish bei Sothebys in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 8.000,00 – 12.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Nazif Topçuoğlu mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Triptych beobachtet, die im April 2010 für GBP 21.250,00 (€ 24.454,59) versteigert wurde.
