In July 2005 Christies in London held the auction Important Old Master Pictures, which included the work The Madonna and Child with a Bishop Saint, Saints Catherine of Alexandria, Margaret of Antioch and Francis of Assisi by Neri di Bicci. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 102,000.00 (€ 147,950.04), 70% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Neri di Bicci - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The Martyrdom of Saint Januarius: panel from a predella, which sold at auction in July 2008 for GBP 325,250.00 (€ 413,233.79).

Im Juli 2005 führte Christies in London die Auktion Important Old Master Pictures durch, in der auch die Arbeit The Madonna and Child with a Bishop Saint, Saints Catherine of Alexandria, Margaret of Antioch and Francis of Assisi von Neri di Bicci zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 102.000,00 (€ 147.950,04) und damit 70% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Neri di Bicci mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit The Martyrdom of Saint Januarius: panel from a predella beobachtet, die im Juli 2008 für GBP 325.250,00 (€ 413.233,79) versteigert wurde.
