In the Modern and Contemporary Art Morning Session auction, the work Les Couturières (Seamstresses at Work) sold for HKD 10,930,000.00 (€ 1,152,878.17) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 5,800,000.00. This high result makes Les Couturières (Seamstresses at Work) the most expensive artwork by Nguyen Phan Chanh that we have observed at auctions so far.
