Auction result well in line with expectations
In May 2008 Sothebys in London held the auction The Irish Sale, which included the work Montpeyroux, South Of France by Niccolo d'Ardia Caracciolo. The price achieved of GBP 5,000.00 (€ 6,360.22) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Admittedly, works by Niccolo d'Ardia Caracciolo have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Ha'Penny Bridge in May 2008 with an auction result of GBP 20,900.00 (€ 26,585.71).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai 2008 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion The Irish Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Montpeyroux, South Of France von Niccolo d'Ardia Caracciolo zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 5.000,00 (€ 6.360,22) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Niccolo d'Ardia Caracciolo auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Ha'Penny Bridge im Mai 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 20.900,00 (€ 26.585,71).
