Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Annabel's, 1985 by Nicholas Garland was sold in the Sir Terence ConranThe Contents of Barton Court auction at Bonhams in December last year. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 800.00 – 1,200.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 892.50 (€ 1,007.55) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Nicholas Garland achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Annabel's in November 2018 with an auction result of GBP 20,000.00 (€ 22,559.39).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Annabel's, 1985 von Nicholas Garland wurde im Dezember letzten Jahres in der Auktion Sir Terence ConranThe Contents of Barton Court bei Bonhams versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 800,00 – 1.200,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 892,50 (€ 1.007,55) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Nicholas Garland erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Annabel's im November 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 20.000,00 (€ 22.559,39).
