Auction result well in line with expectations

In July 2005 Christies in London held the auction OLD MASTER PICTURES, which included the work A Mother Feeding Her Child by Nicolas-Benjamin Delapierre. The price achieved of GBP 4,800.00 (€ 6,962.35) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Nicolas-Benjamin Delapierre - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Russischer Offizier. 1781., which sold at auction in September 2007 for CHF 31,200.00 (€ 18,798.12).

Im Juli 2005 führte Christies in London die Auktion OLD MASTER PICTURES durch, in der auch die Arbeit A Mother Feeding Her Child von Nicolas-Benjamin Delapierre zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 4.800,00 (€ 6.962,35) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Nicolas-Benjamin Delapierre mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Russischer Offizier. 1781. beobachtet, die im September 2007 für CHF 31.200,00 (€ 18.798,12) versteigert wurde.
