Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In June 2008 Artcurial in Paris held the auction Old Master and 19th Century Paintings, which included the work Diane Et Callisto by Nicolas-René Jollain. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 15,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 16,729.00. Admittedly, works by Nicolas-René Jollain have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Danaë in January 2017 with an auction result of USD 125,000.00 (€ 115,805.08).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Juni 2008 führte Artcurial in Paris die Auktion Old Master and 19th Century Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Diane Et Callisto von Nicolas-René Jollain zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 15.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 16.729,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Nicolas-René Jollain auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Danaë im Januar 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 125.000,00 (€ 115.805,08).
