A top price for Nicolas Vleughels
This artwork by Nicolas Vleughels achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in London in July 2017. In the Old Masters Day Sale auction, the work The Presentation in the Temple sold for GBP 31,250.00 (€ 34,870.20) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 15,000.00. This high result makes The Presentation in the Temple the most expensive artwork by Nicolas Vleughels that we have observed at auctions so far.
