Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In October 2021 Sothebys in Paris held the auction Contemporary Curated, which included the work L'oiseau amoureux (vase) by Niki de Saint Phalle. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 30,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 32,780.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Niki de Saint Phalle achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Nana Danseuse Noire (Grande Danseuse Negresse) - Circa 1968 in December 2015 with an auction result of EUR 961,500.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Oktober 2021 führte Sothebys in Paris die Auktion Contemporary Curated durch, in der auch die Arbeit L'oiseau amoureux (vase) von Niki de Saint Phalle zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 30.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 32.780,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Niki de Saint Phalle erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Nana Danseuse Noire (Grande Danseuse Negresse) - Circa 1968 im Dezember 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 961.500,00.
