Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Lower Than The Depths, From The Series His Country by Nikolai Konstantinovich Rerikh was sold in the Russian Paintings and Works of Art auction at Christies in New York in April 2006. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 200,000.00 – 300,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 216,000.00 (€ 171,102.66) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Nikolai Konstantinovich Rerikh - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Tsong-Kha-Pa, From The Series Banners of The East, which sold at auction in April 2006 for USD 856,000.00 (€ 678,073.51).

Die Arbeit Lower Than The Depths, From The Series His Country von Nikolai Konstantinovich Rerikh wurde im April 2006 in der Auktion Russian Paintings and Works of Art bei Christies in New York versteigert.
