Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work New Year'S Night by Nikolai Mikhailovich Romadin was auctioned at Sothebys in London in November 2017, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of GBP 18,000.00 – 25,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for GBP 11,875.00 (€ 13,479.89). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Nikolai Mikhailovich Romadin - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Courtyard in Moscow, which sold at auction in June 2021 for GBP 27,720.00 (€ 32,301.01).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit New Year'S Night von Nikolai Mikhailovich Romadin im November 2017 bei Sothebys in London versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 18.000,00 – 25.000,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für GBP 11.875,00 (€ 13.479,89) den Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Nikolai Mikhailovich Romadin mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Courtyard in Moscow beobachtet, die im Juni 2021 für GBP 27.720,00 (€ 32.301,01) versteigert wurde.
