A top price for Olga Chernysheva - as previously expected
The work Desert "La Pastorale" by Olga Chernysheva was sold in the Contemporary East auction at Sothebys in London in November 2013. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 15,000.00 – 20,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 16,250.00 (€ 19,554.70) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Desert "La Pastorale" is the most expensive artwork by Olga Chernysheva that we have observed at auctions so far.

Die Arbeit Desert "La Pastorale" von Olga Chernysheva wurde im November 2013 in der Auktion Contemporary East bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 15.000,00 – 20.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 16.250,00 (€ 19.554,70) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Desert "La Pastorale" das teuerste Kunstwerk von Olga Chernysheva, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
