Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In September 2021 Sothebys in London held the auction Escape Artists – The Non-Conformists Online, which included the work Picture with Horse by Oscar Rabin. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 20,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 21,420.00 (€ 24,922.47). Admittedly, works by Oscar Rabin have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Russian City With Moon (Socialist City), 1959 in April 2008 with an auction result of USD 337,000.00 (€ 216,469.68).
