Artwork auctioned at three times the upper estimate price
When the work Vase De Fleurs by Otakar Kubin was auctioned at Artcurial in Paris in October 2018, the result exceeded expectations many times over. The upper estimate was set at - in retrospect quite modest - EUR 8,000.00 but the actual price achieved was more than three times as high at EUR 27,300.00. Admittedly, works by Otakar Kubin have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work La Récolte Des Pommes De Terre - Circa 1909 - 1910 in March 2018 with an auction result of EUR 244,600.00.
Kunstwerk zum Dreifachen des oberen Schätzpreises versteigert
Als die Arbeit Vase De Fleurs von Otakar Kubin im Oktober 2018 bei Artcurial in Paris versteigert wurde, übertraf das Ergebnis die Erwartungen um ein Vielfaches. Der obere Schätzpreis war mit – rückwirkend betrachtet recht bescheidenen – EUR 8.000,00 angesetzt, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis hingegen war mit EUR 27.300,00 mehr als dreimal so hoch. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Otakar Kubin auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit La Récolte Des Pommes De Terre - Circa 1909 - 1910 im März 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 244.600,00.
