In the AUSTRALIAN & INTERNATIONAL PAINTINGS auction, the work Cattleman of the North, Western Australia changed hands for AUD 940.00 (€ 526.75) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of AUD 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Admittedly, works by Patrick Hockey have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Australian the Spivs in August 2008 with an auction result of AUD 6,000.00 (€ 3,502.49).
