Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In May last year Sothebys in Paris held the auction Ireland / France: Art & Literature, which included the work 'A La Research Du Temps Perdu' by Patrick O'Reilly. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 6,930.00 16% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Patrick O'Reilly - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Life Goes On, which sold at auction in October 2017 for GBP 21,250.00 (€ 24,229.16).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Mai letzten Jahres führte Sothebys in Paris die Auktion Ireland / France: Art & Literature durch, in der auch die Arbeit 'A La Research Du Temps Perdu' von Patrick O'Reilly zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 6.930,00 und damit 16% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Patrick O'Reilly mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Life Goes On beobachtet, die im Oktober 2017 für GBP 21.250,00 (€ 24.229,16) versteigert wurde.
