Auction result misses estimated price range
In November 2010 a collector was able to acquire the work Running round the world by Patrick O'Reilly for GBP 1,250.00 (€ 1,493.75). This price was achieved in the auction Christie's Interiors at Christies in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 1,500.00 – 2,500.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Patrick O'Reilly achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Life Goes On in October 2017 with an auction result of GBP 21,250.00 (€ 24,229.16).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im November 2010 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Running round the world von Patrick O'Reilly für GBP 1.250,00 (€ 1.493,75) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Christie's Interiors bei Christies in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 1.500,00 – 2.500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Patrick O'Reilly erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Life Goes On im Oktober 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 21.250,00 (€ 24.229,16).
