The »bidding war« ended at GBP 4,750.00 (€ 6,114.83), 58% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Patrick Procktor have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Still Life With Flowers In A Jug, On A Table Top in March 2021 with an auction result of GBP 43,750.00 (€ 51,394.98).

Die Arbeit Roger Cook von Patrick Procktor wurde im Dezember 2014 in der Auktion Modern British and Irish Art bei Christies in London versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 4.750,00 (€ 6.114,83) und damit 58% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Patrick Procktor auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Still Life With Flowers In A Jug, On A Table Top im März 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 43.750,00 (€ 51.394,98).
