Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Le petit talibé by Paul Leroy was auctioned at Artcurial in December 2013. The price achieved of EUR 47,100.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Paul Leroy - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work In the harem, which sold at auction in June 2007 for GBP 74,400.00 (€ 110,405.86).
