Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Calendar, 1985 by Paul Partos was auctioned at Bonhams in Sydney in November this year. It changed hands for a price of AUD 2,460.00 (€ 1,491.61) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of AUD 1,500.00 – 2,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Paul Partos achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Untitled 12 (X,O, Paintings Series) in May 2003 with an auction result of AUD 35,250.00 (€ 19,512.43).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Calendar, 1985 von Paul Partos kam im November diesen Jahres bei Bonhams in Sydney zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von AUD 2.460,00 (€ 1.491,61) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von AUD 1.500,00 – 2.500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Paul Partos erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Untitled 12 (X,O, Paintings Series) im Mai 2003 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von AUD 35.250,00 (€ 19.512,43).
