Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Paysage Au Bord De L'Eau by Paul-Émile Pissarro was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in December 2016. Here, the upper estimate of USD 7,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 7,500.00 (€ 7,107.66). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Paul-Émile Pissarro - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work L'église Saint-Denis, Lyons-la-forêt, which sold at auction in June 2014 for GBP 15,000.00 (€ 18,741.78).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Paysage Au Bord De L'Eau von Paul-Émile Pissarro kam im Dezember 2016 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 7.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 7.500,00 (€ 7.107,66) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Paul-Émile Pissarro mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit L'église Saint-Denis, Lyons-la-forêt beobachtet, die im Juni 2014 für GBP 15.000,00 (€ 18.741,78) versteigert wurde.
