In the 19th Century European Paintings auction, the work Danish wine Harvest In The Tyrol sold for GBP 236,750.00 (€ 276,799.16) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 120,000.00. Admittedly, works by Peder Severin Krøyer have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Marie i Haven (Marie in the garden) in June 2000 with an auction result of GBP 729,750.00 (€ 1,156,743.58).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Peder Severin Krøyer erzielte im Dezember 2016 bei Sothebys in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion 19th Century European Paintings wurde die Arbeit Danish wine Harvest In The Tyrol für GBP 236.750,00 (€ 276.799,16) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 120.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Peder Severin Krøyer auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Marie i Haven (Marie in the garden) im Juni 2000 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 729.750,00 (€ 1.156.743,58).
