Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Mount Qingcheng by Peng Ximing was sold in the Cultured Legacy: Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy from the Chang Shiu Sig and Tung Shui Wah Collection auction at Christies in Hong Kong in December this year. It achieved a price of HKD 30,240.00 (€ 3,499.11), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 21%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Peng Ximing achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Autumn Stream in April this year with an auction result of HKD 86,400.00 (€ 88,231.30).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Mount Qingcheng von Peng Ximing wurde im Dezember diesen Jahres in der Auktion Cultured Legacy: Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy from the Chang Shiu Sig and Tung Shui Wah Collection bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 30.240,00 (€ 3.499,11) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 21%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Peng Ximing erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Autumn Stream im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 86.400,00 (€ 88.231,30).
