This work of art by Peter Meller could be acquired at Bonhams in Los Angeles in January 2024 for an unexpectedly low price. In the The Art of _Supporting The Laurel Foundation auction, the work Affectionate Zebras changed hands for USD 217.60 (€ 190.18) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 1,000.00 – 2,000.00. Other works by Peter Meller have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in May last year by the work Apollo and Muse at USD 357.00 (€ 332.68).
