Auction result well in line with expectations
In May last year Artcurial in Paris held the auction African Contemporary Art, which included the work Sunday Best, 2020 by Peter Ngugi. The price achieved of EUR 10,758.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Other works by Peter Ngugi have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in June 2021 the work The Who Is Who, 2020 was auctioned for EUR 16,900.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai letzten Jahres führte Artcurial in Paris die Auktion African Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Sunday Best, 2020 von Peter Ngugi zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 10.758,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Peter Ngugi konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Juni 2021 die Arbeit The Who Is Who, 2020 für EUR 16.900,00 versteigert.
