The »bidding war« ended at GBP 25,200.00 (€ 29,357.72), 40% above the upper estimate. Other works by Peterson Kamwathi have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of GBP 32,760.00 (€ 38,165.04) in October last year for the work Untitled (ECK) (from Sitting Allowance series).
