Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Philippe Perrin could be acquired at Sothebys in Paris in March 2019 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Collection Marianne et Pierre Nahon, l’art c’est la vie Online auction, the work Fou Man changed hands for EUR 1,000.00 - missing the lower end of the estimate range of EUR 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Philippe Perrin achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Menottes, 2000 in October 2007 with an auction result of EUR 10,533.00.

Dieses Kunstwerk von Philippe Perrin konnte im März 2019 bei Sothebys in Paris für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Collection Marianne et Pierre Nahon, l’art c’est la vie Online wechselte die Arbeit Fou Man für EUR 1.000,00 den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 3.000,00 – 5.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Philippe Perrin erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Menottes, 2000 im Oktober 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 10.533,00.
