It achieved a price of USD 15,000.00 (€ 13,145.21), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 67%. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Philomé Obin; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Un mardi de Carnaval sold at auction in June 2021 with the realized price of USD 18,900.00 (€ 15,952.06).

Die Arbeit Quelques fruits d'Haïti von Philomé Obin kam im Juni 2017 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 15.000,00 (€ 13.145,21) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 67%. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Philomé Obin; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Un mardi de Carnaval im Juni 2021 mit dem Hammerpreis von USD 18.900,00 (€ 15.952,06).
