In November 2007 Sothebys in Milan held the auction Modern & Contemporary Art, which included the work La Colomba Di Comiso (Prototipo) by Piero Gilardi. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 9,850.00 64% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Piero Gilardi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Trilite spezzato in April 2017 with an auction result of EUR 98,688.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 64 % übertroffen
Im November 2007 führte Sothebys in Mailand die Auktion Modern & Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit La Colomba Di Comiso (Prototipo) von Piero Gilardi zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 9.850,00 und damit 64% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Piero Gilardi erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Trilite spezzato im April 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 98.688,00.
