Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Tutte le Stelle del Cielo (Costellazione) by Piero Pizzi Cannella was sold in the connect / reflect / COLLECT a selection of contemporary art auction at Phillips in Online Auction in June 2020. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 10,000.00 – 15,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 10,625.00 (€ 9,460.42) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Piero Pizzi Cannella - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Trittico, Le Perle, which sold at auction in May 2011 for EUR 27,150.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Tutte le Stelle del Cielo (Costellazione) von Piero Pizzi Cannella wurde im Juni 2020 in der Auktion connect / reflect / COLLECT a selection of contemporary art bei Phillips in Online Auction versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 10.625,00 (€ 9.460,42) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Für andere Arbeiten von Piero Pizzi Cannella mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Trittico, Le Perle beobachtet, die im Mai 2011 für EUR 27.150,00 versteigert wurde.
